Jennifer Pena's career pretty much started when her manager had her sing at a Selena (who was the manager's daughter) tribute concert when Jennifer Pena was 11.

Jennifer Pena was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 17, 1983.
the next year released her first album with the band Los Jetz, Dulzura. as the lead singer of Jennifer y Los Jetz she would release 4 albums plus was featured on the Selena soundtrack album.
in 2002 Jennifer Pena went solo and signed to a new label (Univision Music Group)and released her album Libre. the moved started as a good move because before then Jennifer Pena's albums tended to sell around 200,000 copies but Libre sold more then double that amount (500,000)
Jennifer Pena has won multiple grammies.
in 2006 Jennifer Pena
started acting with her role in MTV's All You've Got
and in 2007 film Amexicano. both released directly to DVD.
